I would consider myself a theatrical portrait photographer, but I am also an accomplished wedding, events and editorial photographer. I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and I knew right away (some would say at birth) that a career in photography & film was something I must have.
With that in mind, I promptly attended S.A.I.T. for chemical engineering
(I know odd right! As we all know, sometimes it takes a while to follow our true path and dreams).
My dream of becoming a photographer never died. Finally, after years of tolling in Alberta's oilfields, I decided it was time to pursue that calling and passion and I went back to the hallowed halls of S.A.I.T. to study Photography. Immediately upon completion I went on to challenge my new skills and further my photography education at the prestigious photography program at ACAD.
Some of my photographic accomplishments can be found hanging on the walls at the Calgary Zoo or in many international publications.
I do my best to make all my workshops and shoots incredibly layered and where you will consistently find secret pockets of sincerity and thoughtfulness. I hope that whether you’re a seasoned pro, an amateur just getting into photography, a hobbies our somewhere in the mix, you will feel comfortable in our workshops knowing we all have one goal at the end of the day - to enjoy what we do, improve on our skills and ultimately take great photos!
