LIGHT. MOTION. EMOTION.

A Curiosity Refresh x The Camera Store x Sony Alpha Photography Shootout

An extraordinary collaboration celebrating photography, cultural expression, movement, and creative storytelling.

On Sunday, April 26th, 2026, Curiosity Refresh Workshops brought one of our most ambitious photography productions to by life transforming a beautiful historic venue into a multi-level creative playground "The Princeton Event Centre" in downtown Calgary.

This was no ordinary photography workshop. Light. Motion. Emotion. was an immersive photography shootout created in collaboration with The Camera Store and Sony Canada / Sony Alpha,

It was an afternoon filled with dramatic performances, vibrant cultural celebrations, contemporary bridal fashion, elaborate portrait installations, professional lighting, and an extraordinary community of creative professionals.

From traditional Chinese lion and dragon dancing to energetic Bollywood performances and sophisticated bridal portraits, every element was designed to challenge photographers, inspire creativity, and celebrate the art of visual storytelling.

More than anything, this event demonstrated what becomes possible when passionate creative communities come together with a shared vision.
